A man is suing Macdonalds for $1.5million for giving him only one napkin and refusing to give him another when he asked for it.

McDonalds has made a new golden arch enemy - a California man is suing the company for $1.5million... because he says he only got one napkin with his meal. Webster Lucas claims he was stiffed on napkins at the Mickey D's in Pacoima, CA on January 29th -- after ordering a Quarter Pounder Deluxe - and when he went up to the counter to ask for more, he was rudely rebuffed by the manager ... who insisted he already got some. According to his lawsuit, Lucas, who is black, then retorted, "I should have went to eat at the Jack-in-the-Box because I didn't come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat."That's when Lucas says things got racist -- claiming the manager (a Mexican-American) mumbled something about "you people."Lucas subsequently emailed the general manager to complain - insisting he couldn't work because of the "undue mental anguish" he was suffering as a result of the napkin debacle -- and says he was insultingly offered free burgers in return. Lucas wants to super size instead - $1.5 million.

Sony Music sued for $10m in unpaid royalties

The company representing American Idol contestants such as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks sued Sony Music for $10 million on Thursday over unpaid royalties.

The lawsuit was filed in New York by British producer Simon Fuller's 19 Recordings, which brought the singing competition show to the US in 2002.

An audit was demanded by 19 Recordings and the singers who entered into deals with Sony because of their participation on American Idol and the lawsuit was filed after a review of Sony's books.

The main claim in the lawsuit was that Sony has underpaid some of Idol's best-selling artists by choosing royalty routes in lucrative streaming deals with Google, Apple and Spotify that benefit Sony.

'We did not want to have to file this lawsuit, but Sony left us no choice, so this became necessary to protect our artists,' said 19 Entertainment's worldwide head of music Jason Morey to the trade publication.

Chris Brown sued over basketball game beating

Chris Brown is being sued by man who claims he was beaten by the singer during a basketball game.

Malcolm Ausbon has filed court documents claiming the 'Beautiful People' star and his entourage hit him during a game at 24 Hour Fitness in north Los Angeles last summer.The documents claim: ''When Ausbon expressed dissatisfaction with Brown's behaviour, Brown threatened to 'kick his ass' and 'put these hands on you.' Additionally, Brown claimed to be a member of the 'Bloods' a street gang engaged in criminal activity, not limited to murder, drugs, extortion and crime.''

The filing further claims he tried to leave the scene Chris and his security started to ''strike, punch, kick, pull and stomp Ausbon's head and body,'' resulting in him having to go to hospital.Chris, 24, has been on probation since his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, which was revoked last December following a fight in Washington D.C.

He is currently undergoing a 90-day court-ordered treatment in rehab for anger management issues

Kanye West 'settles case with Beverly Hills assault victim for $250,000'

  

The 36-year-old rapper became the focus of a battery investigation after he reportedly chased the 18-year-old into a chiropractor's office and punched him after the teen apparently hurled racial slurs at Kanye's fiancé.

However, TMZ reports the duo have now come to an agreement and Kanye has paid $250,000 to the man who no longer wishes to go ahead with prosecution.

A teenager allegedly attacked by Kanye West after racially abusing him has offered to settle out of court - for 'several hundred thousand dollars'.
The 18-year-old had initially told police he wanted to file charges against the star, who attacked him after he called Kanye's fiancée Kim Kardashian a 'n*****-lover and a s***'.
But according to new reports the teen approached Kanye's representatives offering to end the case if he is paid off.

'His lawyer called Kanye's people and expressed the desire to strike a civil settlement,' reported TMZ.
Although the youngster has 'no apparent injuries', he claims to have been punched by Kanye up to 30 times.
But he is keen to avoid a public trial, following a police report in which Kim claimed he racially abused the couple.

Kim, 33, claimed she had her life threatened by the teenager in a wild rant in front of hoards of paparazzi.
The teenager was allegedly jumping up and down, screaming 'n*****' and 'f*****' at photographers when Kardashian arrived at a Beverly Hills furniture store last Monday.

When she told him not to use the n-word, he turned on her, according to TMZ.

His insults led to a tense altercation at a chiropractor's office in Beverly Hills.
'The 18-year-old was sitting in a chair as Kanye made a beeline for him, and without saying a word, starting slugging him in the face,' a bystander told TMZ.

'The receptionist was screaming, "Stop, stop," but Kanye ignored her. The kid quickly curled up into a ball to block the blows.'
The person also told TMZ: 'The massage therapist rushed into the waiting room and pushed Kanye off the kid and ordered him out of the office. Kanye got out of the building and Kim went to another office for a meeting.'
