Tragedy: Boy Axed In Unilag by Group of Men Carrying Machetes

On Wednesday January 29th, a young man(unidentified) was attacked with a machete by a group of three men. The incident occurred around 9pm in the night in front of New Hall at the school's Akoka Campus.

Students suspect it was a cult attack, but reasons for the attack is yet to be known.  No one can truly identify this group of men who attacked as everyone at the incident dispersed while the man was being matcheted.
The boy who was attacked was taken to the hospital in a fatal state, no news as to if the boy survived has been released yet.
Unilag Security force are yet to comment on the incident.
